My name is Richard L. Cisco (stage name "poeticrift') and im a poet/fiction writer based out of Durham, north carolina. Many challenges await me as i start down a road being carried by my visions and my ambitions. So many projects are in my mind and when it comes to the arts, im trying to dip my hand in everything. My first untitled project is a poetry collection coming no later than november. This collection is bound to have variety as im not just one type of poet. Dealing with life, relations, and emotions,The poetry you will find among the pages will be of spoken word, rhyme,Metaphor , simple,short, long, and obscure. No matter what type of poetry you read, there should be something in the collection for everybody. In the near future i plan to start many other forms of writing.
