Written in darkness
I know I’m an optimistic person
so why is my writing so pessimistic?
My poems are
like reflections of myself
that I can’t see.
Their part of a darker side,
so is it wrong to embrace that?
Is there any difference from being a dark
person and coming to terms
with apparent dark emotions
this world inflicts on us?
